Webber: Pole slipped through my fingers

Red Bull/Getty Images Mark Webber was left to rue a minor mistake that he believes cost him pole position for the United States Grand Prix. Webber set pole position provisionally and lowered his own benchmark, only for team-mate Sebastian Vettel to eclipse his time and take top spot. Webber reckons that without a mistake at turn 19, he could have bettered the lap set by Vettel. 'I didn’t think I had done enough on the second run in Q3, we [Seb and I] both had two shots with two sets of options,' he said.
