Perez would look outside F1

Sergio Perez has revealed he would consider racing outside of F1 for 2014 after admitting that the timing of McLaren's decision to drop him has left him in a "difficult" position. Despite optimistic noises from the Mexican regarding his future at McLaren over recent races, the situation appeared to change after the last race in Abu Dhabi and Perez announced via an open letter on Twitter on Wednesday that he would be leaving the team after just one season. The Woking team have since confirmed that 21-year-old Dane Kevin Magnussen will take his place alongside Jenson Button next season.
