Valsecchi to miss out on Lotus seat; Kovalainen in?

Davide Valsecchi's Formula One dream appears to be in tatters with reports suggesting that the Italian driver has been overlooked for the vacant seat at Lotus for the final two races of the season. Despite being the team's designated reserve driver, the team has – according to Spanish publication El Confidencial – instead opted to take on one of the more experienced drivers without a permanent drive for the remainder of the season.
