Rosberg pleased to extend points gap

Nico Rosberg described himself as "very happy" after helping to extend his Mercedes team's points advantage over Ferrari with a podium finish in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Heading into the twilight race, Mercedes sat 10 points clear of Ferrari in the battle for second in the Constructors' standings, but that has now been extended to 17, with Rosberg and team-mate Lewis Hamilton collecting 21 points to the Italian outfit's 14.
