Rosberg achieves 'best of the rest' aim

Nico Rosberg achieved his pre-qualifying target of finishing as 'best of the rest' behind Red Bull duo Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel at the Yas Marina Circuit on Saturday. The Mercedes driver, who wound up 0.462 seconds adrift of Webber's pole position time, will start tomorrow's 55-lap race at the head of the second row, just in front of team-mate Lewis Hamilton who suffered a technical failure on his final Q3 lap. "In general I'm pleased," Rosberg explained. "We are best of rest, which was the target. It was nice to annoy the Red Bulls a little but they were just too quick again."
