Hamilton: We have strength in depth

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has responded to the rumours that Team Principal Ross Brawn is to tender his resignation at the end of the season, arguing that if he does, the Brackley-based outfit has enough strength in depth to cope with the loss. On Tuesday, a BBC report claimed that Brawn had made the decision to leave the team, with Toto Wolff and Paddy Lowe, both Executive Directors, and Niki Lauda, a Non-Executive Chairman, set to share the running of the squad moving forward. Lauda has since made it clear that Brawn is yet to make his choice, but Hamilton says whatever the ultimate outcome, the Silver Arrows can go on to win world titles.
