Chilton 'chuffed' with Q1 showing

Marussia's Max Chilton described himself as "incredibly chuffed" after outqualifying team-mate Jules Bianchi and both Caterham drivers at Suzuka on Saturday. The Briton, who had previously failed to outpace Bianchi in a straight qualifying shootout, set the 19th fastest time in the opening knockout phase, and will be promoted one place after the application of Adrian Sutil's five-place grid penalty.
