Williams still investigating

Williams are still unsure what caused the left-rear wheel on Pastor Maldonado's FW35 to work its way loose during Practice One at Suzuka on Friday. The opening day in Japan proved incident-filled throughout the field and Maldonado was involved in accidents in each of the two practice sessions, the Venezeulan sent into a spin at Spoon curve in P1 when his wheel detached and then crashing in the early stages of the afternoon session. Reflecting on the day's incidents on Friday evening, Williams' Chief Race Engineer Xevi Pujolar said the team were still investigating the cause of the loose wheel.
