Suzuka Practice 2: Vettel and Red Bull take command 11 October, 2013 Sebastian Vettel tops at the end of day one at Suzuka In what is becoming a typical story on the opening day of grand prix weekends: Red Bull play second fiddle to Mercedes in the morning FP1 session, but by the end of the afternoon the blue cars are top of the timing screens – ditto the opening day of the Japanese Grand Prix with Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber leading the way, with the triple worldchampion fastest of all.
