Vettel takes out a Yeongam yo-yo Qualifying

Sebastian Vettel topped a qualifying session of musical chairs in Korea, Blue skies were traded for the overcast variety for qualifying, with track temperature two degrees cooler than at lunchtime – possibly affecting on pressure settings. Esteban Gutierrez was the first to dip his toe in the water and was immediately followed by di Resta, Button and Hulkenberg. All drivers on track were opting for the medium compound. Down the rear, Caterham and Marussia were biding their time to see what times the mid-pack could achieve on the medium rubber.
