McLaren hopeful of double points finish

McLaren's Jenson Button was happy to have qualified 8th in today's qualifying session. His team mate Sergio Perez was less satisfied with his performance as he failed to make the cut to Q3 and will have to start the Singapore GP from 14th on the grid. Jenson Button, MP4-28A-04, 8th, 1m44.282s (on Options): “The car felt okay and I’d say it was a reasonable qualifying session for us. There’s still quite a bit of progress to be made, but we’ve been doing a lot of set-up work this weekend to improve the car and I’m happy about that. “We’ll see what we can do tomorrow, so as to make the best of where we are.
