Team principals bemoan lack of unity over costs

Formula One's struggling backmarkers bemoaned what they called the wealth and selfishness of the successful teams on Friday for escalating costs to compete in the glamour sport. New 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 engines set for next season will mean a surge in expenses with Caterham, Williams, Lotus, Force India and Toro Rosso all asking on Friday why the bills were getting larger when the sports governing body, the FIA, had long talked about reducing the burden.
