Readers back Hülkenberg for Lotus seat

Nico Hülkenberg has been backed to replace Kimi Räikkönen at Lotus next season, with 56 percent of voters in the latest GPUpdate.net poll favouring the Sauber driver. Following last week's announcement that Räikkönen is to rejoin former employers Ferrari on a two-year deal, speculation has been rife as to who will take a seat at the Enstone-based outfit, with Romain Grosjean expected to continue for a third term. Felipe Massa, who is leaving Ferrari after an eight-season spell onboard, finished second to Hülkenberg on a 31 percent share of the votes, the 11-time Grand Prix winner recently being named by Lotus team boss Eric Boullier as a candidate.
