Ricciardo delighted with race result, but implores continued development
Daniel Ricciardo has expressed delight after a competitive display during the 53-lap Italian Grand Prix, which eventually saw the future Red Bull driver finish 7th and ahead of both the McLarens and Lewis Hamilton. However, the Australian ace has implored his team to remain focused on introducing developments to the car as the season continues.
After an equally competitive qualifying performance, Daniel Ricciardo managed to both qualify and finish the race in 7th position. This in turn saw him bring home six vital World Championship points for both himself and the Faenza-based outfit.
