Belgian GP: Ferrari back in title contention, says Fernando Alonso

Spa Francorchamps:  Fernando Alonso said his drive to second in Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix at Spa Francorchamps proved he and Ferrari are back in contention for the championship.Although he fell a further seven points adrift of German Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull, he said he felt their improvement proved they can mount a late season challenge for glory.The result was also a relief for Alonso as it comes after he was rebuked publicly by Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo after the Spaniard had joked following the last race the Hungarian Grand Prix he would like a more competitive car for his 32nd birthday."I am happy with the feeling we had this weekend, (with) the parts we...
