McLaren want to keep Button

McLaren Team Principal Martin Whitmarsh has said that they have every intention of keeping Jenson Button on at the team. Speaking on Thursday ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix, Button admitted that while he wanted to stay at McLaren, they had yet to confirm a 2014 contract with him.
