Raikkonen's talks with Red Bull unsuccessful
Kimi Raikkonen's manager has confirmed that talks with Red Bull were unsuccessful, paving the way for Daniel Ricciardo to be confirmed as the team's second driver in 2014.
Raikkonen and Ricciardo had been the two contenders vying for Mark Webber's seat next season following the Australian driver's decision to retire, but Sport Bild reported earlier this week that Ricciardo was set to be announced at the Belgian Grand Prix this weekend, suggesting that the race was over.
However, Steve Robertson's confirmation to Turun Sanomat that the negotiations have ended leaves the way clear for Ricciardo to join the defending world champions.
