Webber backs Austria's return

Mark Webber has welcomed F1's return to Austria, confident that the Red Bull-owned track will be one of F1's "best additions" in recent years. Formula One last raced in Austria back in 2003 at the A1-Ring before losing its place on the calendar as Formula One began to branch out into new territories. And although new countries have been the order of the day in recent years, next season the sport will revisit the past as the A1-Ring rejoins the schedule. The redeveloped track, which is owned by Red Bull's boss Dietrich Mateschitz and now known as the Red Bull Ring, is provisionally scheduled to host the grand prix on 6 July 2014.
