Pirelli still waiting for Sauber payment
Sauber’s future has been cast into further doubt after reports that the Swiss team has still not paid Pirelli for the supply of its 2013 tyres. According to the German publication, Bild am Sonntag, Sauber's debts now stand at 80 million, with 35 million of that owed to current suppliers, including Ferrari and Pirelli, who provide the team with engines and tyres.
The Hinwil based teams financial problems were initially reported before the German Grand Prix, when reports arose that the team had failed to pay its star driver Nico Hulkenberg.
