Indian GP axed for 2014
Organisers of the Indian Grand Prix are hoping to return to F1 in 2015 after it was dropped from next year's calendar.
Formula One surpremo Bernie Ecclestone claimed a clash in dates suggested by FOM and local promotor Jaypee Sports International (JPSI) led to the decision to axe the race.
"When we signed the five-year deal with Jaypee, we were keen on going to India in the first half and Jaypee wanted it to be in October," Ecclestone told the Times of India. "We gave in at that time, but now it looks we will have the race early 2015."
