Formula 4 – Training Ground For F1′s Future Stars?

The BRDC Formula 4 championship burst onto the scene, screaming and shouting about their new, good value, cost effective series that would provide the perfect training ground for F1’s future champions. Spearheaded by Jonathan Palmer and under the control of MSV and the BRDC, the series is the first port of call for those making the move from karts to ‘slicks and wings’ racing. It’s meant to provide a good, competitive field of racing drivers with low-cost cars and giving drivers the best schooling possible in single-seater racing. So has it proved successful so far?
