Toro Rosso unable to confirm qualifying pace

Toro Rosso's Jean-Eric Vergne and Daniel Ricciardo soon realised that their cars were not that quick in race trim. The struggle somewhat continued through the race and caused both drivers to finish out of the points. Jean-Eric Vergne, STR8-03, 12th: “A difficult race after we saw yesterday, particularly with Daniel, that the car has a good pace, but in the race we struggled and we could not match our usual rivals. I did what I could after a bad start, which meant I had to fight to get back to where I was. Beating my team-mate? It means nothing, especially when we are outside the points.
