Tyre compounds confirmed for Spa, Monza and Singapore
Pirelli has today confirmed the tyre compounds that it will be bringing to the Belgian, Italian and Singapore Grands Prix in the coming months.
Unsurprisingly, the Italian tyre manufacturer has elected to use its hardest two compounds for the races at Spa and Monza, with the more conservative stance coming after a difficult first half of the season that saw many drivers struggle with tyre wear. Furthermore, the fiasco at the British Grand Prix has caused Pirelli to revert to the harder compounds for the upcoming races.
