Vergne: Red Bull should take Ricciardo, not Raikkonen

Jean-Eric Vergne believes that Red Bull should hire Daniel Ricciardo instead of Kimi Raikkonen to replace the outgoing Mark Webber next season. Vergne was initially shortlisted for the seat by Red Bull team principal Christian Horner, and he is still hopeful of landing the seat despite being ruled out of contention by Horner last week. However, the Frenchman has given his support to his Toro Rosso teammate should Red Bull not hire him. 'I think it's my teammate Daniel Ricciardo who should get the job, not Kimi Raikkonen,' Vergne told Kronen Zeitung.
