Giedo van der Garde hopeful of continued improvements at Hungary

Giedo van der Garde is hopeful that Caterham can continue improving towards the rear of the order during this coming weekend’s Hungarian Grand Prix, around the tight confines of the Hungaroring reminiscent of Monte-Carlo without the barriers. It was at the Monaco Grand Prix back in May when Caterham secured their best qualifying result of the year so far. Although the weather for this weekend’s Hungarian Grand Prix is not expected to be a repeat of the showers witnessed at Monte-Carlo, both Giedo van der Garde and Charles Pic are aiming to continue catching the rest of the field in their continued battle for supremacy towards the rear of the order alongside Marussia.
