F1 2013 – Mercedes will receive Pirelli test data

Pirelli have confirmed that they will share test data from the F1 Silverstone test with Mercedes, who are banned from taking part.Pirelli motorsport boss Paul Hembery has told Autosport 'The teams will have a very clear tyre test programme, they have to run what we are telling them to run.'Mercedes do have a lot of data from the tyre from last year in terms of the way it will affect aero and set-up. I think they would have benefited from being able to run.'However, we give all the teams the same feedback after the test. We look at the same data, so they have all the same information.'
