Lotus and Sauber confirm testing plans
Lotus and Sauber have confirmed that they will both run a current driver alongside two rookies at the upcoming Young Driver Test. The Enstone outfit will put Kimi Raikkonen behind the wheel of its E21 on the final day of the test to work through its tyre programme, whilst Nicolas Prost and Davide Valsecchi will run on the opening two days. Sauber meanwhile have confirmed that Nico Hulkenenberg will get half a day behind the wheel to test the new tyres, whilst Robin Frijns will test on day one and the morning of day two. With the Swiss outfit under financial strain, Kimiya Sato will test on the final day. It's believed the Japanese driver is paying for the opportunity.
