Whitmarsh: We re going the right way
Martin Whitmarsh says he thinks McLaren are heading in the right direction on the back of a promising performance in the German Grand Prix.While a points haul of twelve is still way below what the Woking-based squad is used to taking away from a race weekend, it still marked the best to date in a troubled season for the former championship winning outfit, with Jenson Button taking sixth place and Sergio Perez crossing the line in eighth.Although that still leaves McLaren down in sixth place in the championship standings, Whitmarsh said it was an indication that the team was moving in the right direction, with the result at the Nurburgring having also ended a run of two races without any...
