Red Bull given heavy fine over loose wheel
Red Bull has been given a hefty fine of 30,000 (£25,834) following its unsafe release of Mark Webber during Sunday afternoon's German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, with the Australian's right-rear wheel flying off and hitting a cameraman in the pit lane. The incident occurred on the ninth lap of the race, when Webber made his first stop of the afternoon. Mechanics frantically signalled that the tyre had not been fitted properly, but their driver was released with a loose wheel that went on to strike Paul Allen, who has since been diagnosed with a broken collarbone, broken ribs and concussion. Force India was also fined for releasing Paul di Resta into the path of Toro Rosso driver...
