Vettel seizes home German win

Sebastian Vettel finally broke his July victory jinx to claim his first ever win at his home German GP after withstanding race-long pressure in a tense, and at times chaotic, race at the Nurburgring.On an afternoon which highlighted fresh safety concerns for the sport after a cameraman was knocked to the ground with a flying tyre in the pitlane, on the track Vettel fended off the advances of the flying Lotus pair to stretch his World Championship lead back to in excess of a full race victory just seven days on from his shock first retirement of the season at Silverstone.
