Pirelli won't quit F1 over bad publicity

Pirelli will not "walk away" from Formula 1 following the bad publicity its company has endured after tyre failures at the British Grand Prix last weekend. Whilst the Italian company is yet to agree a new contract with the governing body - something that is expected to be announced this month - they are keen to solve the tyre woes and remain a part of the sport. "We need to get it sorted," Paul Hembery said on Friday. "The best way to react is to do it properly, get things sorted and get things back on line. We are a professional company.
