Di Resta underweight in qualifying
Paul di Resta will have to start the British Grand Prix from the back of the grid after post-qualifying scrutineering found his Force India to be 1.5kg underweight.“After the third qualifying session car number 14, driver Paul di Resta, was weighed 641.5kg, 0.5kg under the minimum weight as required by the Formula One Technical Regulations. After this the car was completely drained of fuel in order to establish that the minimum weight of the car without fuel, 642kg, was respected at all times,” read a statement issued by the FIA.Once the fuel was removed from the car the Force India tipped the scales at 640kg but later it was found that the FIA scales were calibrated slightly...
