Button's Silverstone curse bumps him off Q3 by 0.05s

Jenson Button’s ill luck at the British Grand Prix continued after the McLaren driver qualified a disappointing 11th in front of his home fans on Saturday. The Briton missed getting into the final leg of qualifying by five-hundredths of a second at a circuit where he has never been on the podium despite being the driver who has the most number of British GPs under his belt from the current grid. Such has been his poor run at the British GP that the McLaren driver has only two top-ten starts in his last eight appearances at Silverstone.
