F1 Teams and drivers gear up for Silverstone
Teams up and down the pitlane are looking forward to the British Grand Prix taking place this weekend with some noticeable achievements being celebrated over the weekend.
One of these achievements is the celebration of Williams's 600th Grand Prix, formed in 1977 by Sir Frank Williams and Patrick Head the team have scored 16 world championships and 114 race wins. This race makes the celebrations even more significant – Williams took it's first win at Silverstone in 1979 with Clay Regazzoni.
Sir Frank said about the achievement: 'For an independent team like Williams to reach 600 races at the pinnacle of motorsport is a remarkable achievement. 78 teams have come and gone or changed...
