Silverstone confirms Young Driver test date

Silverstone has confirmed the expected news that it will host a Young Driver test from 17-19 July, open to all drivers with no more than two Grand Prix starts to their name. The test, which Silverstone staged for the first time in 2012, will take place one week before the Hungarian Grand Prix, the final race before the traditional summer break. In 2012, rookie gatherings were also staged at Magny-Cours, France and the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, with Williams, Marussia and HRT testing at Silverstone.
