Button questions tyres pressures in Q2

Jenson Button believes incorrect tyre pressures played a role in his elimination from the second phase of qualifying at the Circuit de Catalunya, with the McLaren driver feeling that the levels were slightly too high as he battled for a place in Q3. Ultimately ending up in 14th position, while team-mate Sergio Pérez progressed and claimed ninth on the grid, Button admitted he was slightly confused by the situation. "The car felt OK in Q1, but, in Q2, I couldn’t find the grip for my final run," Button told reporters in the Barcelona paddock. "It felt as though the tyre pressures may have been too high, but to be honest we’re not yet quite sure exactly what happened....
