Barcelona Qualifying: Rosberg on pole as Mercedes annex front row

11 May, 2013 Nico Rosberg will start the Spanish GP from pole It will be an all silver front row for the Spanish Grand Prix after Nico Rosberg powered around Circuit de Catalunya to claim pole position with teammate Lewis Hamilton second fastest. Rosberg only showed his hand in Q3, where the traditional one lap pace of the Mercedes was used to the full as he powered around the Barcelona venue in 1:20.718 seconds, which was a quarter second up on Hamilton. The pair were the only drivers to go below the 81 seconds barrier all weekend.
