Lotus expecting to stay with Renault power in 2014

24 April, 2013 Renault powered Lotus Team owner Gerard Lopez believes it is most likely Lotus will stay with Renault power beyond 2013. Next year, Formula 1 is switching to all-new and more expensive turbo V6 engines, and Luxembourger Lopez admitted Lotus is yet to sign a new Renault contract for 2014. 'However, it's no secret that we have a close relationship with them,' he told the French magazine Formula 1i. 'In my opinion, there will be no surprises,' added Lopez.
