'It's starting to come together' – Chilton

Max Chilton believes his debut Formula 1 season is now showing signs of serious progression, having bounced back from issues in the early stages of the Chinese Grand Prix weekend to finish Sunday's race ahead of key rival Giedo van der Garde. The Briton endured two stoppages at Shanghai on Friday, before a water pressure problem prevented him from completing his final Q1 run. Although he was unable to get on terms with the second Caterham of Charles Pic and team-mate Jules Bianchi, the 21-year-old drew confidence from his 17th place finish.
