Webber to start from pit lane

Mark Webber will start the Chinese Grand Prix on Sunday from the pit lane after his Red Bull team changed his gear box and made other modifications. The Australian was excluded from qualifying in Shanghai on Saturday after a technical error left his car with not enough fuel for a sample. He was sent to the back of the grid as a penalty. But the Red Bull outfit have decided he stands a better chance in the race by changing the gear box, gear ratios and suspension set-up, a breach of the regulations which means he must start the race from the pits. Lewis Hamilton is on pole position. Sapa - AFP
