Merc hope to stay in leading group

Mercedes team principal Ross Brawn is optimistic his squad can once again challenge at the right end of the grid in China this weekend. Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have not only managed to keep up with front-runners during qualifying in the opening two races, but the W04 has impressed on race day with the duo finishing third and fourth respectively behind the Red Bulls of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber in Malaysia. Although the likes of Ferrari, Lotus and McLaren are expected to edge closer to Red Bull at Shanghai, Brawn sees no reason why his Brackley squad won't be there are thereabouts once again after adding some upgrades to the car.
