Webber praises mechanics for testing work
The final day of Formula One’s second pre-season test might have seen the weather take a turn for the worse in Barcelona, but despite the intermittent downpours and a host of red flags as drivers were caught out by the conditions, Mark Webber managed to get through the full programme planned by Infiniti Red Bull Racing.
At the end of 64 laps, he praised the team’s work during a tough day at the Circuit de Catalunya. “It was cold out there today, I can’t remember having a full test day this cold,” said Mark afterwards. “But actually it was reasonably consistent; the conditions were pretty stable all day, although not very representative of a grand prix weekend.
