Russian Grand Prix set for November 2014

By Editor on Friday, January 25, 2013 The inaugural Russian Grand Prix is set to be held in November 2014. Anatoly Pakhomov, the major of Sochi, insists that construction is still on schedule. 'It will be held in November, after the Olympics,' he told Reuters. 'The circuit’s construction is being closely monitored by the regional government. Everything is going according to plan. If we had any problems we would have asked for help from other regions.' It remains to be seen how a Russian Grand Prix will be slotted into an already congested end-of-season schedule, with three races already taking place in November and F1  teams unwilling to race into December.
