Timo Glock and Marussia part company

German driver Timo Glock has parted company with Marussia. Glock joined F1 with Jordan in 2004, scoring points on his début in Canada. After winning the GP2 crown in 2007, he joined Toyota and claimed three podiums, with a best finish of second place in the 2008 Hungarian Grand Prix and 2009 Singapore Grand Prix. Toyota pulled out of F1 at the end of 2009 and Glock sought refuge with Virgin Racing, which morphed into Marussia at the start of 2012, but in three seasons the team has so far failed to score a championship point.
