'2012 campaign was a miracle' - Alonso

Fernando Alonso says it was a miracle that he and Ferrari were able to achieve such strong results in 2012, with the team beginning the season some 1.5 seconds off the pace. The Spaniard, who lost out on the title to Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel by just three points, described the year gone by as 'the best season' of his career to date. Alonso is chased by rival Vettel at Interlagos'I am happy with the way things went,' he said, having claimed three victories in 2012.
