Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff made no effort to hide his satisfaction after Sprint qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix, where the Silver Arrows once again flexed their early-season strength. After a dominant start to the 2026 campaign in Australia, George Russell and Kimi Antonelli delivered another statement performance in Shanghai by locking out the front row for Saturday’s sprint event.
