Red Bull is set to lose its Chief Designer Craig Skinner

Red Bull Racing has experienced a significant loss within its technical department as Chief Designer Craig Skinner has left the team just before the start of the new Formula 1 season. Skinner, who joined Red Bull in 2006 after contributing CFD work through Fluent (now ANSYS Fluent) for Williams and Jordan, steadily rose through the organisation over two decades. After beginning as a CFD engineer, he became head of that group three years later, then moved into aerodynamics leadership. He was appointed Deputy Head of Aerodynamics in 2014, promoted to Chief Aerodynamicist in 2018, and ultimately became Chief Designer in 2022, working closely with Technical Director Adrian Newey.
